TV advert: Evaluation


TV adverts re-branding Ben and Jerry’s ice cream evaluation: 

My group and I decided to do a re-brand of a Ben and Jerry's TV advert. We those the idea of a teenage girl having to stay home and being sad about it, which leads to her friends coming over and bringing her a cheer up solution, Ben and Jerry's ice cream!

Good things about our advert:
  • We all agreed on a product/brand which we knew we would be able to show differently to how it is currently shown on TV
  • We chose a relatable idea for teenagers to relate to, which was are chosen target audience
  • We worked together well to organised ourselves and each other to distribute the jobs and work load equally and effectively
  • I think that the video is a good representation of what a Ben and Jerry s teenage TV advert might be like

Things that could have been improved:
  •         When originally shooting the advert we thought we had done a great job but after re watching during editing it turns out we had made mistakes with the type of camera lens we used
  •          I think that we could have checked over all shots before we thought we could roll up for the shooting and that we should have used a tripod a bit more for some shot
